Twitter is giving music another go thanks to a partnership with SoundCloud that will bring streaming music to the micro-blogging service.
The new Twitter Audio Card lets users discover and listen to audio, which can be docked so you can continue perusing your timeline without missing a beat.
Starting today, users can listen to podcasts, music, and other types of audio from launch partners like Kevin Smith, the White House, NASA, NPR, Entertainment Weekly, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, and Zeds Dead.
Over the next few weeks, the Audio Cards will be made available to anyone who posts on SoundCloud—meaning everyday users with music, conversation, or sound effects can easily share them with followers.
