The next time we’re able to play Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner, the weapons and armor will be completely updated. This article will outline these new items, perks, and the new Crucible bounties.
Trials of Osiris
Trials will be taking a break for awhile – it won’t be immediately available with Taken King, but should be back within a few weeks after launch.
Weapons
These new weapons have a sleek black/gold color scheme. Unlike the Y1 Trials weapons, these weapons can roll with random perks. Each time you purchase them, you’ll have a chance at a new roll.
Click on a weapon to see all its available perks and min/max stats. Their sights can alter their stats pretty dramatically.

Armor
The cosmetics of the armor appears to be mostly unchanged, but there are new perks, and they can be re-rolled as well.
- Winged Sun armor is purchasable.
- Blindsight armor can drop after a match.
Trials & IB helmets have the “Angel of Mercy” perk – gain bonus Super energy from reviving others.
